When they started running faster.
Thanks! Was wondering about a mile marker or something, but thank you for the typical Letsrun.com productive answer.
The men's race is so boring
Derrick leading!
Real racing doesn't start until last 10k. Let the hammer down and the carnage commence. Is Jordan still on AR pace?

What's your problem with drafting?
Why do they have time trials at the tour de france? It makes it a whole different race.
Did anyone just see some guy with two wiener dogs cross the road right after the lead men's pack went by? So much for security out on the course.

Why don't you enjoy the race instead of being a snotty little kunt.
Nice one!! Sorry if wanting the folks who run this website to do better by wheelchair athletes is killing your vibe. Watch the races.

It is literally the stupidest thing to not know the difference between literally and figuratively.
Wheelchair racing is almost hard to believe. I cannot imagine pushing myself with my arms for a marathon.
I wonder, why do they not amputate their legs? Surely the weight gains would be a tremendous advantage?

Man what a story a Tadese win would be...
Don't blow your load, Derrick is just using his pacing skills that he learned in Italy.
Really rooting for Derrick. I thought he was gonna be the next big thing, sad to see injuries derail that, but I'm hoping the marathon is more his speed.

I think people care because the time will be faster than whatever this will be won in and that shouldn't be the case with this quality of a field.

But do someone care figuratively?

It's true that wheelchair is a totally different thing, surely why the coverage of that race, which still allows the casual viewer much time to watch the runners in trail.
I agree completely with this. Today is the right time for her to go for broke.

I know a lot of people are knocking Hasay's strategy here, but this is a rare opportunity for her to push herself and run a really fast time, possibly American record. She's an elite runner, she likes to challenge herself. She has plenty of marathons in the future to run a more strategically, so why not go for it here and she what she can do?

I was thinking the same...that's the only difference...not more muscular, fat or anything worth noting..
