As J. Gault pointed out, either Hasay goes with the lead group or she runs by herself. Dibaba is really pushing the pace. Hard to see Hasay not falling apart, but one hopes.
Agree, run like you want to win. Also, if running on "Pure Hate" she may have chance at American record.

Good interview on NBC CHicago broadcast with AR holder Deena Kastor. She said she'd be happy to lose her American record. She said she doesn't feel like she owns it. She said Samuelson's record was there to inspire her to push her limits and was a goal and thus she views her record as a goals to people like Hasay.
Haha. Why is the race clock so far out??
Listening to Deena Kastor is SO annoying.
"Why not go for it here and see what I can do" - the inner talk of most marathoners after the first 10k.
Admire her going for it, but she has to be in 2:16 shape to pull it off. You can't just wing a marathon.
They were all wearing black--but excellent interview. But the color of those new Nikes--red with a hint of pink. Yuck.
NBC keeps showing a Buncha wrong a** charts. First showing the fastest time's of the year which was the 2016 list and didn't include the 2017 Berlin time's. Again doing the same with the list of fastest marathons run.
For those of you joining us mid-race.

Respectfully disagree
Could somebody tell the men's field that Aaron Braun should not be the leader at the halfway point of this race? Thanks.
Dibaba is like kipchoge! Stop focking drafting me!
She does not play!
I love her ..to bad her sister is weak.

Glad you flagged this. LRC should get the investigation going now. She should be DQd for sure.
Dibaba' is starting to make them suffer.
Far too slow mens race..gonna be an exciting second half.
