Which spike is going to be better for a 5K/10K racer? I've never run in Matumbos before but I've always heard rave reviews about them in general. I've never run a 10K, but I don't think my more aggressive Mambas are going to be the best for the longer event.
For reference, I run in the NB XC5000s during cross country, so a similar feeling shoe would also be nice. I know its hard to compare an XC and a track shoe, but any comparisons people can draw would be great.
I've heard the Avantis are really good as well, and I raced in the Adidas XC6 and a more aggressive spike (which are discontinued now I believe or just not available on the Adidas website either). I know these Avantis are known to be a bit more comfortable and provide some more cushioning.
Any advice from runners experienced in running in these spikes would be great!
