No mention of the Pegasus Turbo yet? I would think everyone on this thread would be psyched to see a shoe with a pure PEBA midsole. No plates, no zoom airbags, no gimmicks. Just a Pegasus mesh upper with a PEBA foam lower.

I mean, there's some React foam in there to stabilize it, but point taken.

Cool, will add that to the list. Thanks!
I hope the 2nd gen will be lighter with less drop.
I'm sure the less drop will make a huge difference in your performances.
Turns out some reviewers misunderstood the REACT in the Turbo.
There is a very thin layer on the outsole to fill in the gaps between the rubber pentagon lugs, as it wears better than ZoomX, but no REACT stabilizing ring or feature like how Reebok and Adidas add EVA to TPU midsoles.

So a $180 training shoe with a foam that wears out quickly? No thanks.
I agree $180 is too much for a training shoe, especially since it has no carbon fiber plate to justify the jacked up price. However, the ZoomX just wears out with surface abrasion and the Turbo's rubber outsole with REACT backing most likely solves any longevity issue. (Just guessing here...)

You are very much wrong. You see that seam across the middle of the midsole, that's react below there, dished out like a bowl stabilizing the whole damn thing.
I mean, it's not out yet so none of us have seen it/worn it except testers. That said, I'm excited to try it out at some point.
What I'm more excited about is the fact it'll drive Pegasus 34 prices down, possibly under $50.

Personal preference, kind sir. But I won't be buying an 11.3oz (sz9) shoe anytime soon, regardless of the drop.
Fwiw, the Lev2 is down a whole .2oz to 11.1. Report back.

Nope, you are very much wrong...
The seam is where the carbon infused nylon plate was in the prototypes. They evidently ended up leaving it out. Both the top and bottom part of the insole on the top and bottom of the seam are ZoomX PEBAX. The REACT is a thin layer with the rubber outsole, and the center section of outsole is only REACT like in the Epics.
There is a pic on a popular Nike forum that shows each layer of shoe. I'd post a pic but I don't know how to do it on here LR.

OK... I didn't know if you are allowed to post a link to another forum or not... sometimes it is against the forum rules.

It needs to be wider in the mid foot.

Did the folks who set the price not realize that the plate was left out?
Sheesh... I remember when people thought Newton was absolutely crazy for asing $175 for a pair of Gravitys...

Obviously, any exposed foam on the bottom of the show will have durability issues. I was thinking more along the lines of the foam compacting at a low mileage and losing its cushioning/energy return properties, as Vaporfly users would report a loss of "spring" or whatever after 100-200 miles. I'm sure the ZoomX in the Peg Turbo has a higher density than the Vaporfly, but I would be hesitant to buy these until some long-term testers can comment on the longevity of the shoe.
£165! WTF!
That’s only £30 less than the Vaporfly: which has proven benefits!
Anyone know what in the world Nike’s EXP X-14 is? Made w React foam, but I cannot find anything abt its specs or purpose...
It's a lifestyle shoe with the purpose of looking like their techy running shoes. Don't bother.

It's like techwear/streetwear. I can't tell if you're being sarcastic but lifestyle is the label they slap on models that aren't for performances purposes. Honestly a good looking shoe.
