Is Blaise Ferro running xc this year at NAU? Did not run first meet and doesn’t appear to be running at Louisville this weekend. How are all the new freshmen doing, they seem to have a big group come in this year.

Bump
He is from CBA, he is done.
That program is a meat grinder, few if any run well after that place.
If he's a freshman, it's as likely as not he's redshirting. NAU doesn't exactly need him this year.
He is confirmed to be redshirting this year, but is taking classes at NAU
Did he not red shirt last year also? Ran a few races end of track last year had some good times, so if he red shirts xc again then he would only have 3 seasons of xc possible.
Blaise is scheduled to run in the B race at Wisco. If he runs well, will probably be in the 'Jacks Top 7 for Big Sky and Mountain.
14:09 5k as a freshman during outdoor track for blaise, mhm sounds like he’s done and is some ground meat if you ask me
Whatever high school you went to I’m sure has MANY outstanding performances after they graduate. Nothing better than seeing your old pals run an 18:00 minute 5k down Main Street in their old gym uniform! If there weren’t people like you, there’d only be one heat sheet and we’d all get to go home a hell of a lot earlier. Next time you give a road 5k a go, be sure to let your family know to bring three meals for each mile of your race!
Who do you think you are
Running around, leaving scars

Can I be Blaise Ferro too?
Ran 13:51 5K at Iowa State, so he seems to still have a little something left in the tank.
Just dropped a 13:50 last night at Bryan Clay
Great run by Blaise last night. Actually two former CBA runners broke 14 last night at Bryan Clay with Blaise at 13:50 and George Kelly (Adams State) running 13:52 to win heat 2. Combine that with some of the exploits that Mike Mazzaccaro, Tim Gorman, and Jack Boyle had in the Ivy League the last 3-4 years and maybe all the CBA "burnout" talk might not be as true as it used to be.
Ferro's been doing fantastic lately with the 27:56 and the 6th place at NCAA XC - he's got to be thinking about some sort of a pro contract at this point. It's crazy what 3 years can do.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Des Linden: "The entire sport" has changed since she first started running Boston.
