I was in 2:20 800m shape before I started base training the past 2.5 weeks. You guys think this schedule would get me under 5 in the next 10 weeks?
easy running 30-50 minutes, strides 2x a week, weekly sprint session for speed-development
easy running 30-60 minutes, strides 2x a week, weekly sprint session, but weekly threshold/tempo added with full recovery mile-pace reps
all of the above and longer repeats/intervals or vo2max sessions as I hear them called, with 800/1600m reps thrown in weekly
Dec: will try to run my goal time in this month
