For some background I am in my junior year at a small division 1 school. I have been doing about 85mpw for the past year or so. My 5k pr is 15:13 and my 10k is 31:33 I have also run 25:19 for XC 8k. I havent run anything shorter than a 3k since my senior year of high school and my 800 pr then was 2:11. I've half jokingly asked my coach every year of college to let me run an 800m. My question for the forums is do you think I can break 2:05 off of aerobic strength or is my coach right that I have no speed.
