Alabama's three DIII/Juco transfers might make them one of the best (maybe just the best) DI teams in the country if we were scoring 3.
Unfortunately for them we score 5, and their top returning regional scorers from last year were 42nd and 55th in the South region.
They aren't ranked in the USTFCCCA poll (are receiving votes though), but a lot of people seem to be hyping them up, and FloTrack ranked them all the way up at 11th (here's the link to their piece on them for reference:

)
Alabama has a big roster so maybe there is somebody else I am missing, but I'm not sure they are a lock to win or even make it out of the South region despite those three guys, and therefore placing high at nationals doesn't seem to add up either. (Getting out may not be a big challenge, with Ole Miss losing so much, and MTSU may have a big problem after 4, not very impressive at Vanderbilt today and it seemed like they were really racing)
Am I missing something here? Do they have enough after those 3 guys to really contend? The transfers could have a great season but doesn't mean nearly as much if they're not actually scoring as a team.
