RRR: Congrats on the 5k win yesterday, and sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Hope everyone and their family and friends are safe from the hurricane in Florida.
Goal: 16:56 5k by Thanksgiving
M: 6 w/ 2x5x10" hill sprints, 1 min barefoot running
T: 7 w/ 25 min cruise running @ ~6:25 pace. Pushed it up the last hill, but otherwise in control. strength (med ball throw, power snatch, back squat, circuit (pull ups, lunges, dips, chops), rows & planks)
Th: 6 w/ 2x5x10" hill sprints
F: 7 w/ 35 min hill farlek (~7 min pace avg), Legs were dead from the start but it also wasn't overly effortful to push an honest pace. strength (jumps, power clean & jerk, deadlift, circuit (pull up, goblet squat, DB press, chops))
S: 9 w/ Trail running and then 2x(60",40",20") on 90" at the end. Felt good. Played an hour of pickleball afterwords.
Su: Birthday hiking, turned 23 so I'm slowly but surely catching up to some of you geezers.
Total - 35, Had an unplanned down week last week and was feeling good this week.
