so..i started playing tennis in college..and after playing i woke up the next day with immense heel pain and a disability to put my foot on the floor. i was afraid to sit down because they when i got up it was excruciating. so I went to a podiatrist. He said it's probably...probably...achilles tendonitis. So he put risers in my shoes and said no sports activity.. It started healing but not really well. This all happened in may. I went..On July 6...to the foot and ankle specialist that helps the red wings..he said it's more of a "burr-itis" and there is "fuid" build up and thats what causes pain. So he gave me special orthotics to correct my step, and an aircast to wear. Ok. So i started feeling better without wearing the air cast. then one day it started feeling worse. So I started wearing the aircast. It started feeling better again. I could run short distances if I wanted to. I had hope. then, something happened and it turned around. Now, I am back to square one. I have a hard time walking without the brace or my shoes, and often have to walk with my injured foot sideways and push off of it in the morning. I'm getting really sick of this heel pain. And really sick of being crippled. It is now SEPTEMBER 9. WHAT DO I DO?
