Watching the game, it struck me how many long passes Brady threw... and missed. In the second half he went, I think, 7 for 21. If he hits a few more of those long passes, it's a different game. The Pats are going to be tough once Brady and his receivers get on the same page.
16/36 just isn't going to get it done. Lets face it, Brady is 40, Edelman is out, Gronk is a shell of his former self (too much nerve damage in his left hand), Amendola is an injury magnet, and your defense made Alex Smith look like the second coming of Dan Marino. There are reasons to be concerned.
You still counting out the best player to ever play the game?
I love how he had to explain the rules to the officials twice.

Much like Allen Webb, he is old, slow and a shadow of his former self. I honestly doubt he throws more than 3000 yards this season. Serves him right for supporting that nazi loving trump!!!
Nice prediction genius!
Brady: 30-39 447 yds passing today.
Yea, against the aint's, not much of a test was it. Kansas City had a much tougher game against Philly than they did against the Pat's.
Not impressed.

Considering how (with whom) they achieved it, it was a pretty good test. Don't comment if you don't have a clue.

Lets keep an eye on how many QBs have that kind ofvgame against the Saints this year, eh numbnuts?
Yea, against the 0-2 Aint's, they are horrible.
Again, not impressed.
Well, the powerful Vikings led by Sam Bradford put up 480 offensive yards last week against the S aints, hmm.
Wonder if Bradford was throwing deep up by 20+ in the 4th quarter to pad his stats like Brady.
Many QBs will have that kind of game against the Saints

You realize that half the reason they are 0-2 is that the Pats beat them, right?

Yes, that was too funny. The haters complain about Brady whining, but he is almost always right. He just knows that game better than anyone, including the officials.

No, he plays team sport, the ultimate team sport. He is not even on the field for half the game, he has no control over how or if the other team scores. If he was not on a great team with a great coach, he would be retired, because he is not as great as his coach and team made him. He or anyone else for that matter cannot win a football game.
At least in Baseball the pitcher has complete control over the other teams ability to score and because of that they are credited with the W or L, in Football it is not true. The QB is only a part of the W, in some cases a very small part.
You're saying that Tom Brady doesn't have complete control over a game because he doesn't play on the defensive end, but yet you say a pitcher has complete control over a game because he has "control" over the other teams ability to score, right? The thing you just completely left out of your statement is that a pitcher, at least in the AL, doesn't have any single control if his team scores. So just like saying Tom Brady =/ Defense, the same can be said about Pitchers =/ Offense. "A pitcher is only a part of the W, in some cases a small part." Know your sports.

Wow...0-16 more likely than 16-0 for PATS now. Bellicheat has lost his touch.
Dude! Nice prediction. You definitely lost your touch.

Do his 5 Super Bowl rings impress you? As someone else said, you really shouldn't comment if you have no understanding of football.
Ooohh. Tom Brady had a good passing game against the worst passing defense in the NFL last season. Way to pad his stats by throwing deep when they were already up by 20 points in the 4th quarter as well. Their dedication to the pass is going to leave them with nothing by the end of the season (Gronk injured, Amendola injured, Dorsett injured, and Edelman on IR two games in), not to mention the linemen will start going down as well. You also forgot to mention they are now the 2nd worst defense in the NFL thus far this season (2nd only to the Aints). But hey, congrats on your victory.

No, because he is part of the team and without Belichek he has none, (without Pete Carroll the patriots have four).

The Pats are not "my team"- just pointing out to you and the OP that Brady is far from "done".

Didn't happen.
Yea, it did, ball was caught on the three, from midfield, the Pat's love to rub it in. If you are a fan you know that.
