I certainly think that it tops soccer for distance running. Weight training as in squats is not specific to running. (You don't run!)
Nordic Skiing is good and you do not get the pounding. But you also do not get as much strength in the musculature that matters in distance running. I am talking about distances of 100 meters to the 2 mile here. Longer than that it may be better to do Nordic.
Thoughts anyone?
