What are your guys thoughts on the program?
Are they good at developing runners?
Any insight on their training?
Recruits? Walk on times? Scholarships?
Any other notable info is great too!
Thanks

The team is doing a great job, the school spends all of its money on distance though so they'd better be.
You know they will have made a mark when they start getting some top kids from Ca.
Coach has done a great job. Big props to USF.
They seem like a great program. They recruited me for a little bit. The coach recruiting me seemed like a pretty nice guy and from what I was told they are big into individualizing the training of their athletes. Im not sure about their scholarship money because I committed to another school before we got that far. Maybe not the top school for the tier 1 national recruits, but definitely a good option for the tier 2 national level guys that are just short of pulling scholarship money from the top schools.

Your a liar. The coach is a chick.
Thats news to me. I never talked to the head coach. I talked to what I assume was the assistant coach who is in charge of recruiting. Coach Wetli was his name I believe.

They actually don't spend much time recruiting Californians because Californians are known by all college coaches to be giant a$$ pu$$ies. If they know they are going to have to drop big money on talent either way when the Pac-12 schools in the state aren't going to have to pay much if anything for those same in-state kids, why not invest it in more developed, more mature, less pu$$y a$$ foreigners? That's their formula...and it's working.

DIOS MIO! Laughable since every top 10 team in the US has at least 1 Californian on the roster.
"San Francisky? So how did you came, did you drove or did you flew?"

Ask those coaches how coachable that kid is...don't get me wrong, college coaches have to recruit them since there are so many of them and with those numbers obviously comes big talent...but it's more of a "love/hate" kind of thing...and if you can get away with not doing it like USF has, it's a HUGE win. And tell me how many Californians USF traveled last XC season when their women took 6th at NCAA's?
The are in the second tier of the WCC with Gonzaga, but still way behind BYU and Portland. Gonzaga is a rising power and it will be interesting to see if USF will be able to hang.
USF only recruits Europeans, A few years ago the Coach told the kids to make a choice! Either academics or take running serious! Quite a few kids quit after that and a few Coach's left. One reason you see assistants stay to long also!
I meant assistants coaches not staying to long!
Point park is a much better program
