Mon - 2up 2x200 (38-38) 6x800 (2:44-2:44-2:45-2:47-2:48-2:50) 400 meter jog rest 2:00-20 1mile down
Tues -am 10 starting easy moderate middle attacked some hills at the end. 7:30pace overall pm 14mile bike ride
Wed - am 4 7:38 pace pm 4 7:46 pace
Thur - 1.5 up 2x2mile on road 11:59(6:04-5:55) 2 mins standing rest 11:49 (5:57-5:52) 1.5 down
Fri - 4am very very easy 8:20s
Sat - am 6 easy
Sun - gonna go out and do 4-6 w strides.
Good week. Got my volume back up to around 50 and two good workouts and a good 10miler in a 4 day span. Legs paid the price a bit they were toast on Friday and Saturday they still were popping. Hopefully be good tom morning for the 10. Was planning on kind of training through it anyways.
Race Plan : go out first mile at 6min pace (72 ft of climb first mile anyways) to help insulate me from going out to hard as I am prone. Then throttle it up to 5:45 pace over the next two miles which have net downhill. At halfway kind of give it a feel check and adjust.
