Wambui ran a PB. Looks like she mistimed her peak as well.

I agree that this struture change has been a good move. However, for the distances races, I wish they would start rewarding fast times. The current system makes people run just to win, which is great at the world champ stage, but for the circuit is just boring. Farah's "I will only go for a fast time if I am forced to by the other competitor's" to sum up everything wrong with modern distance running. Now that the WRs are so far out of reach, there needs to be an incentive to run fast since there is no hope of getting the WR bonus. Rewards for say, sub 13:00, sub 12:55, sub 12:50, ect, would push athletes to run fast again.
Reward the runners who run well, and the ones who don't want to run can go home.
Hello friends:
The 3 men win the womens 800 again. What a shock!
Holy moly. I honestly didn't know Asafa Powell was still in the game.
Most disappointing meet of the year. slow times.
Another World Champ defeated a Justin Gatlin finishes 4th in the 100m. Race won by Great Britain's Chijindu Ujah in 9.97 (outleaned Ivory Coast's Ben Youssef Meite, also 9.97).
2017 will go down as the slowest year in recent memory for 100m and 200m. What happened?

Sure it does if you taper hard leading into those 12 days.
And Jebet just told us she got sick in London. So I am proven correct. You don't rock the DL finale if you weren't in shape at Worlds. Now, you might bomb post-Worlds because psychologically you are tired but you can't suddently get in shape in 2 weeks.
At Worlds, Jebet and Chepkoech would have gone 1-2 had Jebet not been sick and Chepkoech not missed the water
HJ and PV are complete. Barshim retired at 2.37m (winning height 2.36m) while Kendricks did not clear 5.94m (winning height 5.87m).
After two jumps in the LJ, South Africa is 1-2 with Manyonga and Samaai. 8.31m and 8.23m respectively. USA's Lawson is sitting in third with 8.07m
No height for Renaud Lavillenie. What a literal fall from grace.
The first and last run for mohamedbot. RIP mobot.
Lets hear it for the Muk-Bot!
100 sure has been underwhelming this year.
5k is off
Back of the pack, again. A slow final track race for mohamedbot.
Tim H just said Mo Farah ran 12 seconds of the 10k world record... tf?
First lap. Farah out in 11th. Edris sittig on him in 12th. I hope the guy up front take it .
Is Tim H drinking? He said the 10k at Worlds was 12 seconds off the World record? Thats' not true. Not close to true.
32 seconds off the WR.
Off
Other than the distant possibility of Ben MF True (the only American to win a DL 5000) doing something special, I'd like to see if Kwemoi can deliver today.
Des Linden: "The entire sport" has changed since she first started running Boston.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Ryan Eiler, 3rd American man at Boston, almost out of nowhere
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
