I haven't seen any daily totals that are extravagant or any Rob Young style mountain climbs. As of now, I would think they are just bad with their tracking devices instead of doing anything fraudulent.
The issue with ‘just bad with devices’ is that she is on pace to run faster than anyone ever has, except Pete. Less than 46 days.
Good point. Although I would think quite a few people would be on record setting pace this early in the run. Are there any recognized standards of tracking that need to be met for the run to be considered the new record? I would guess it would just be the consensus of the ultra community as to who has the fastest time?
