Rather than hide it this time they likely turned it off. Another event may be here.
Did you say there's an arrow on the web site that indicates if the tracker is on?

That is what has usually happened but not always. Sandy's tracker arrow did not point up last night. I am not sure what button needs to be pushed on a Garmin to officially put into the up position. Maybe a Garmin expert can explain how that actually works.
Thanks. Looks like she moved again.
MIMI: 08:43-09:03 AM Garmin gap in data. Distance covered ~0.9 miles.
Data points seem to have been lost but the pace seems reasonable. But the pace is 20+ minutes per mile.
And Garmin has backfilled in the missing points. Some drop to less than 2 miles per hour. Maybe she is hitting all the stop lights?

Cause I keep seeing posts here with all sorts of accusations but nothing saying what exactly they think is going on.
She's obviously not doing the distance reported, and is wearing herself out trying to keep up appearances. I doubt that she's actually doing even half of the miles that are reported by her team, as she's simply not able to do more, and trying to keep up appearances is wearing her out.
I've said this all through the thread, as well have many others so you need to open your eyes.

They are also leaving the trackers on, taking them off and hiding them. Who knows how many "events" they are hiding.
But they're not reading this forum!

And Mimi is not following Sandy on Strava. Yup.

She is NOT doing those miles by foot.

It is amazing how she has been able to put in the miles and keep a consistent pace today. It was amazing yesterday when she sped up after the clinic visit too. Wish we had a better idea of what is going on. I don't understand the drop outs today. She's not in a mountain valley or surrounded by skyscrapers.

A few Garmin dropouts might be acceptable. But 20 minutes in a large city is odd.

Agreed.
Sandy looks like she stopped at 08:26 AM after reaching the town of Grand Junction, Iowa.

That should be 09:26 AM. This looks like the lunch break. Sandy appears to be making small time adjustments (15 minutes per day) in advance of reaching the Eastern timezone.

Looks like maybe Sandy needed to take a detour for some reason, or was that southern route planned?

It looks like she is headed back to the road she was on (Lincoln Hwy) after the diversion. The diversion certainly isn't a mistake. There is some reason for it.
A wild guess on my part is that the people of the town asked her to pass through as a welcoming event. It is Sunday so it is a good day for a small town event. Her photos tonight might reveal what the diversion was for.
