I wonder what sort of dollars Mikey is forking out for this kind of representation:
"The Firm Was Recently Named By Newsweek As One of the Top 14 Criminal Defense Attorneys Today"

As with most things or claims, one needs to step back and employ a little bit of critical thinking or analysis and not accept everything on face value, especially when the source has ties to news outlets. First, Newsweek is not some legal journal or source of legal information or recommendations. Second, it is a washed up former magazine that is a shell of its former self. Third and most importantly, the claim, "...recently named by Newsweek as one of the Top 14 Criminal Defense Attorneys Today" is specious at best. Why?
Look at the top of the page after clicking this link,
http://www.newsweek.com/insights/14-best-criminal-defense-attorneys. It says SPONSOR INSIGHT. Sponsor - a person or organization that provides funds for a project or activity carried out by another, in particular.
That amounts to essentially paid advertising by those fourteen firms/people. Plus fourteen is an odd number if Newsweek had actually done some research and actually produced the list themselves. There have been a number of high profile, criminal cases in and around Philadelphia over the years, and his attorney is not linked to one of them. That does not diminish that he may be a very good and skilled attorney, and the fact that he was part of the DA's office is most certainly a very strong positive attribute for Rossi, but it doesn't make him one of the best in the country.[/quote
Much of the success for a defense attorney depends on the level of honesty and truth pertaining to the facts he gets from his client, so the lawyer knows what the truth is to begin with, and how to avoid his client getting what he deserves by "spinning" the truth to benefit his lying, thieving client, so imagine the uphill battle the lawyer faces defending Mike
