This was covered ages ago; there is no separate offense of "domestic violence". A tough guy who punches a 47 year old woman in the face gets charged with the same offense whether it's his wife or not. The difference is in how those charges are dealt with by the prosecutor, not the charge itself.
There is no way to make this a good story for Rossi. It's also very unlikely this is the last terrible thing we hear about him doing. The gift that keeps on giving. You can't fix stupid.

Interesting that someone hits a woman who is not his wife yet seems very confident that this person will not attend as a witness, I've not ever heard of women who are that understanding of being hit.
You could argue that if there is no sanction against men going up and punching random women then the legal system has fallen apart.
I'm new, but I personally don't care what the report says. If I did, I'd call their files department, make the $10 payment (or close to it) and have it sent to me, easy peasy.

The combination of misinformation and insults to generate responses has been done to death now. Can't someone in Philly just get the police report if it's so easy?
