Speaking of that Facebook post, I'm no lawyer, but it seemed like a dumb thing to do the day after being arrested for assault. Isn't it a bad move to post a public apology, no matter how vague, if you plan on pleading not guilty? The guy is his own worst enemy.

I'm not Mike Rossi. I am just blown away by how confident you guys and gals are that he's seriously going to get anything more than a slap on the wrist, community service, or an anger management class.

There aren't many certainties in life, but I'm fairly confident that he did not run a 3:11 marathon and most of his friends and family have to know that by now. His times simply don't jive with the marathon results that he allegedly did a few years ago.

With that said, please leave his family out of it. Someone said his wife cuckold someone named Lydia???????? Surely a lie and what's the point of putting that on the internet? His kids are innocent, they've done nothing. Please, he knows what he did and didn't do, let him figure out the next step, or the law, if that's the point that it's at.

He cheated in a marathon. Not cool, but come on, if he hasn't come clean by now, the race directors have not disqualified him, what more can you do, and why?

He wouldn't have been charged with domestic assault if it didn't occur, there is no trial necessary to determine if he assaulted a woman, IT HAPPENED, Forget about "there will be no trial" it doesn't matter. Mike's reputation as a thief, cheat, and abuser is cemented FOR-EV-ERRRRRR!!!

Running is a meritocracy. You get what you earn. Rank and file lobes to run, and to some degree middle management. Running is where hard work pays off, at least in gains relative to one's own capabilities.

Now here we have an individual who pissed us off greatly because of his shortcuts. And then proceeded to display how such a shortcuts-personality "hits Rock Bottom".

In some wicked way Mr. Rossi confirms why we run.

I totally understand and agree to a point. You can read whatever any posts and if it interests you, great. What I'm saying is what's really going to happen in the end? If the race directors did nothing by now and he hasn't admitted any wrong doing, nothing will happen to him and he'll never admit wrong doing. Even if he admits it when he gets really old and feels major guilt, then what? The guy knows he didn't run 3:11. He ran no race before or after that translates anywhere close to that time. His friends and family have to know it as well, assuming they can read. He still may never admit it. Live life and be happy dude!

Has that sort of thing been known to go on in the Philadelphia House of Correction, which is the area Rossi would likely be sent to, as according to this link, it is for 'misdemeanants' and they have such things as 'group therapy', which he seems to need?
