Look at us. Professional runners work for chump change compared to other sports players.

The revenue for T&F athletics for universities are deceasing compared to the other sports.

In soccer, Adidas will sponsor you! You don't even have to negotiate how you advertise yourself on social media because you'll be on TV regardless.

Also it's an endurance/strength sport.

Imagine if all elite runners made a soccer team compared to trail runners. Who would win?!

This is what I get for watching soccer movies. The last running movie I watched was.. Chariots of Fire. Yikes.

I'm not Oxford material.

I have no doubt in my mind that I could have been pro if I was put in a system from a young age. I was destroying kids solely on raw speed but was never quick enough in tight quarters because of my heavy legs which are only suitable for adult use. So no I would not have been a prodigy but would have come into my own once the physiological processes were put into place-my legs would have been like weapons the world had never seen-these weapons only matched by my heart, literally, the systolic pressure pumping life into them.

My friend was a pro soccer player, he dated the hottest girl in our state and was also our town's Bob Marley. He's dead now but lived an amazing life.

Us is bad at soccer vecause people think it is an endurance sport. It is a skill sport first. Look at iniesta pirlo xavi riquelme etc - none of them fast. Kids start at 4 or 5. Technique matters more than being fast and if you start at 12 youte too old to make it as a pro except in some second tier country like usa or mexico.

This is a sport that has had Maradona and the fat Ronaldo as its world's best. Not sure they'd tell you soccer is an endurance sport.

Fat Ronaldo was very fast over short distances and very strong. He's probably one of the best pure athletes that ever played football, so maybe not the best example for what I was arguing, although he was also technically amazing. Narcissistic Ronaldo is also quite an athlete. Still I doubt either could make 11s in 100m or 4:15 in 1500m.
