Actually that is kind of interesting
and then do some sort of GIS map of where the ancestors came from. i wish they would do this for the WR holders.

i think they should do this as part of the bio passport. do the dna test to see where everyone is genetically from.
like all the US sprinters and Jamaicans, are they all from west africa descent? or are some central? west? or do some have more native american genetics? it would be super interesting

One could generate metrics based on the results of world stage track success and Ancestry DNA.
It would definitely be interesting to find out, but there would be obvious privacy issues. Someone's ancestry can be a very sensitive topic.
