Three confirmed cases in New Mexico.
Found in fleas in Coconino County, Arizona (Someone make sure the Coconino Cowboy, Jim Walmsley is okay!)
Is this the end of human existence?!?

No, it's actually pretty treatable these days. Luckily we've made advances in medicine since the Middle Ages:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubonic_plagueIn the words of the great Antoine Dodson
"Y'all need to hide yo kids, hide yo wife and hid yo husband"
It never left. It is endemic in rodents out west.
How can it be the end of human existence when we have antibiotics now? 😂
Super strain of Bubonic Plague. Drug resistant version that the GOP has been developing in labs to reduce minority voters in swing states. CNN is picking up the story. Being spread by KKK marchers who have been set up as pawns in the GOP's attempt to abolish our rights and freedoms.
This is the first "... IS BACK, BABY!" post that hasn't annoyed the eff out of me. Well done.

Thank you. I *VERY* occasionally come up with a gem on here. Now I'm signing off to go buy my hazmat suit.

I'm from this area of NM. There is at least one bubonic plague case a year out here. Nothing new..
Last time I checked AZ and NM were not swing states...

You might want to get out more. The plague has been around, well, since before the middle ages and it has been in the US at least since Europeans first arrived to this continent.

If you like, go ahead and keep making yourself look ignorant. It becomes you.

But, but, but, the GOP and its supporters are anti-science, and anti-intellectual, and stupid! They can't possibly be smart enough!!!
If it wasn't the end of human existence before, why would it be now?

Because under the great orange howler monkey's watch, everything is bigger and better. Bigly.
