Sell outs etc. Awesome job by the Brits

Sell out crowds, infectious disease. What more could you want?
- Makwala debacle
- Series of dumb DQs and officials mistakes
- preventing runners from seeing results of earlier heats -- WTF??
- keeping runners standing cold before their race for half hour plus -- leading to Usain Bolt's injury
-Gatlin wins (a doper should win a doped sport)
-Farah loses (Mobot is annoying)
-Americans 1-2 in steeple (good for LRC in tier 4 event)
-UK wins mens relay (good for the home crowd in tier 3 event)
A++++
12/20
+ Good stadium
+ Good crowd
- Organization problems with the Makwala story
- The disease
- The computer problems that got many results wrong after the races
- Bad time managing between podiums and athlete waiting in a very cold chamber
- Very slow times and performances in most of the races/throws/jumps.

Makwala was more a medical personal call
It RAINED. F minus. Major events should never be held in England where it rains cats and dogs in early August.
They spent about a trillion dollars on that stadium, were they unable to afford a retractable roof?
We have this happening.
very true
the weather made it a Z minus meet
it's a pity there wan't same weather as in '12 which was very good for a major meet
very unfortunate considering continent was having heatwave with temperatures in spain well over 100
WC shoud only ever be held in guaranteed hot countries, which means in europe they shoud only be in mediterranean countries every time or $ rich arabia or california/florida
i'd be quite happy if every time they held the meet in europe it was in madrid/barcelona/rome/milan/athens
Worst World Championships since they began in Helsinki 83. Slowest times, dreadful weather, the end of Rudisha, Farah and Bolt. The scathing attacks on Gatlin from the British media and BBC and then the fiasco with the Makwala ban. Good athletes pulling out of events, fading to nothing, not making finals. Top Kenyan womens steeple chaser missing the water jump. Disaster.

It actually rained very little.

I'm getting rid of my playboy mags and replacing them with this one photo.
A.
The women's steeplechase and the men's 5000 were the two best races of the season. The men's 100 was pretty exciting, too.

It was a great meet and the crowds show that track and field is not dead.

How many championships have runners sick? Usually just does not get the publicity

It didn't rain much.
Also much better location than next WC which will be blazing hot and favour athletes from warm nations. Its completely fair that it was in London this time.
I'm talking about mismanagement and mistakes on the parts of the officials or organizers. Yes runners get sick, but how many championships have them physically barred from the stadium, let alone without warning or explanation?

The crowds were big but unknowledgeable, nay, clueless, and terrible homers.
I never get turned on watching lesbian stuff...
But this one is out of camaraderie. And I love the derrieres, legs, Team USA and Coburn's calves. It's the chemistry and the story that turns me on, oddly enough.
