I think there is a lot of unwarranted negativity on this board. It seems like many posters only seek out the times that people fail to win, rather than admiring all the hard work it took for those people to even get to that level of talent. And it's not even a competitive thing. These are nobody runners who relinquish the fact that 30+ year-old elite runners occasionally get injured or don't compete at 100% of their ability all the time. I just don't understand the all hate for Mo Farah, Galen Rupp, Matt Centrowitz, etc. Even if they were born with superior genetics and even though some of the things that they do are borderline doping it still takes an incredible amount of dedication to perform at that level. I think that we should be more positive because at the end of the day runners are all working together against the clock.
