They state that Edris won because he simply ran a better race than Farah, and compare Farah's last 1600m in 2013 to Edris' last 1600m in 2017. It's nonsense. They were different races. Farah eases off when he has done enough to win.
Edris' last 400m was 52.3 or something and they say that this was too much for Farah but he ran the last 400m in Rio in 52 also and that race was 13:03 in awfully hot weather.
Truth is, Farah would beat Edris in a straight 5k any day of the week. The problem was that he was tired from the 10k. And on top of that the Ethiopians charged early to block in Farah and he was extra boxed by Chelimo. Kjelcha sacrificed himself for Edris whether he meant to or not.
