I think mo days of the track is ended today. The Ethiopian were the better runner in the 5k the last couple of years, but were psychologically self defeated. Now that is gone. They will beat mo in a fast or a slow race now on if he wants to stay in the track. I am sure he will, there is no way he can compete with kipchoge, Bekele, kipsang and the likes

Lol, he'll be offered Millions of Dollars to run Marathons, and he'll cash in for a few years.
Plenty of marathons for them all since they don't bother to compete in the championships anyway.
Never really see proper marathon competitions, it's more gimmicks, rabbits on the flattest possible courses or record attempts behind a car.
He's done a lot on the track. He will be great on the roads.
Kipling didn't run marathons.

They might pay him once and they will see him beaten badly. That will be the end of it
Kipchoge failed in the track. Mo didn't so does not really need to prove anything at the marathon.
Kipchoge is fast. Mo is slow.

No he didn't I think he has a better pb than mo. Unfortunately he was competing with the prime Bekele. You remember those days when mo was 100m behind Bekele

Yes Eliud Kipchoge was a failure on the Track Won Worlds at age 18 over a prime K. Bekele, and El G, Ran 12:46 for 5000, ran under 12:55 9 times, Ran under 7:30 for 3k both indoors and out (5 times under 7:30) with a best of 7:27, ran 3:33 for 1500 and 3:50.4 for the mile, ran under 8:08 for the 2 mile indoors and out and ran a road 2 mile in 8:02, lucky he found his niche in the Marathon, or he would be another hobby jogger, I think some of the people on these boards would be content to fail the way Kipchoge failed on the track. (Sarcasm)

So a group of guys that weigh 130lbs make up the big boys club. Got it.

Yeah. Kipchoge is the best example of a track star turned marathoner imo

Mo's best chance would be in the unrabbited US majors.

Rabbited unrabbited it doesn't matter Mo is too slow for the marathon

In the world of Marathon they are gigantic, not like your 300lb fat ass that will make up the very small boys club

The question is not if he's going to be offered a lot of money (even a mothball can deduct that) but if he will join the big boy's club in terms of winning major marathons. I don't think so either, unless in watered down talent races. The Kenyans are going to eat him alive.

Except all of his times are better than WR marathon pace. Hmmm.
