It's semifinal day in the men's 1500 and women's 800. In the 1500, Robby Andrews is in the harder heat 1 (Mikhou, Manangoi, Iguider, Kiprop, Ingebrigtsen) while Johnny Gregorek goes in heat 2 (Cheruiyot, Kwemoi, O'Hare, Willis).
In the 800, Ajee Wilson is in heat 1, Charlene Lipsey is in heat 2 and Brenda Martinez is in heat 3. Heat 3 looks to be the hardest on paper with Niyonsaba, Wambui and Jozwik (2-3-5 at '16 Olympics) all in that race.
