Very good get for ND. Kreft will end up being one of the best in the NCAA. The 14:29 he ran earlier in the season was on a legit course. It was just dry and hard and cool that day, and he had great competition in Dustin Horter. He ran away from Horter in the last 600 meters. Very impressive run for him that day. He is the real deal.

ill try and get some news on McLeod this weekend if possible
Sam Bowers from GA(14:50 guy) I believe is probably going to Furman, his teammate Milton #2 is going to UGA(committed last week)
Any news on either?
wasn't able to talk to Jacob, Sam is planning on Furman for sure should hear an announcement soon
Any word on Cameron Ponder? Great race at Manhattan!
I heard Ponder will probably go to Furman but he visited Stanford, Wake Forest, ole miss and of course Furman.
Mason Gatewood to Penn. They have a very nice class right now.

It sounds like Jacob is down to Furman and Belmont. Are you sure about Sam? I heard he also liked UGA.
Why consider Belmont or UGA (men)?
Have heard from muiltiple people it's close to 100 meters short. Which means he still woulda ran 14:40s which is still great. But to say he's going to be one of the best in the NCAA when he's broke 15 once is a little much in my opinion.

Kreft's 14:29 was not on a legit 5k course. I know two people who measured the course at Hilliard Bradley the day of the Midwest Meet of Champions: one said it was 100m short, the other said it was 110m short.
Regardless, Kreft is a great runner and a great get for ND. Shaping up to be an awesome distance class for the Irish with Kreft and Danny Kilrea.
I've heard Dustin Horter is deciding between NAU, Iowa State, and Indiana.

I had heard Michigan was still on his list, is that no longer true?
Iowa State snagging up the Ohio boys once again.
Cameron Ponder Comitted to Furman

Very different schools, but both solid institutions. Belmont is a great mid-major in Nashville, unique fit but awesome place to live and go to school. Pretty solid program, have sent individuals to nationals over the years. They have a of young studs this year and should be moving up in the world the next few years.
UGA has sent teams to nationals in the past, and is a solid SEC school.
If he likes the schools and they're paying, makes sense to me.
Ponder to Furman, any word on Dylan Jacobs? Wonder if Hasty will sign early period, Horter is another big one that hasn’t announced.
I'm going for with a bold guess, but I would imagine the fact that Jacob brother runs for Belmont might have something to do with it.
I cannot believe Wetmore recruited a kid with Brazilian citizenship.
Betting all Georgia recruits end up at UGA. Fun party school with all their friends and dirt cheap.

Looks like U of M is bringing in a lot of guys this year
Michigan is graduating a bunch of seniors, I think their top 4 guys at Wisconsin we’re all seniors. They probably have a bit of scholarship money hence the large class.
I’m not sure Brodey will actually visit them, I bet he signs early period
