Thoughts on this? The guy was probably mad the lady wouldn't move out of his way. Dude is probably going to feel the long arm of the law before long..

That bus driver deserves an award. He was alert and paying attention at a very boring job. Makes me proud for the working people of the world. Do your job well. No matter what it is! Awesome.
as for the jogger, looks like attempted murder to me, should be tried as such...i think there is a 100% chance he will be caught or he will turn himself in...probably talking with his lawyer right now cooking up some BS story/excuse

I was planning on trolling a response...but...after watching the video I just can't.
That is the dumbest bloke in the world. I'm all for a little nudge in the shoulder but that chick wasn't even in his freaking way. He was running in the middle of the sidewalk.
Dude deserves everything he gets.
That might have been an overweight Ovett practicing his rough tactics for a senior 800m race. He pulled the same elbowing in the Moscow 800m if you remember.
now LR sleuths. I bet he has posted this on Strava or Garmin Connect. Can we do the police's job and find this nutter?
he went out of his way to hit her, but it also almost looks like the girl moved towards him at the last second. from the angle it's strange, but there could have also been a weapon in her hand.
The 'fastest dude on the pavement' needs to get banged up in prison where can enjoy the company of other tossers.

It really doesn't look like anything of the sort.
Do people run on the other side of the sidewalk because it's England? I usually run on the right side, but maybe the lady thought left side was ok.
According to the article, the jogger returned to the scene and ignored the woman as she tried to confront him about pushing her. Too bad no one else tried to stop him as he jogged back through.
Really dude?
The only thing I can think of as "defense" is that the jogger didn't know the bus was coming up on him as they were travelling in the same direction.

No even that doesn't hold up, as he just ran past the bus so obviously it.This guy is psycho hobbyjogger.Even if he just wanted to push her he could've pushed her on to the opposite side ,not on the road.Should get attempted murder, the lady was very lucky.
Looks like a typical skinnyfat LRC poster. Probably just left mom's basement and had his creepy rant post deleted right before.
I expected a case of the woman not giving room to pass, but that was not the case. Just pure aggression from a pathetic chump. That no one detained him on the return speaks to the sorry state of public decency.
Anyone think the guy knew the woman? Maybe they have had some kind of altercation in the past and it was his way to get back at her. Doubt they would have maybe been lovers because if so she may have recognized him.
Hard to tell for sure but it looked to me like the woman said something to him, based on the reflection in the bus windshield i lip read it as either:
"Hobby jogger"
or
"Joe Bloggs"
Or
"knob kisser"
No excuse for his conduct whatsoever though. Words never are enough to justify violence.
This runner must do this often. Notice how the guy is walking on that raised section giving a wide berth. It looks like he knows what's coming because as soon as the runner passes him, he drops back down to the sidewalk. He probably got pushed last week and learned his lesson.
Seriously though, I hope they catch him and prosecute accordingly. That was awful to see him lay that woman out like that.
The woman is lucky, not only is she very unathletic but the bus driver and the jogger had quick reflexes. Big win for her.
The Revolution has begun. Every time one of our kind gets heckled, we shove someone in our way.
That guy was only "jogging." Imagine how powerful he could be if he was running!
(RIP lady...)
Was part of the sidewalk intended for walking? Was she on the run/bike section? Otherwise, it looks like she was walking on the LHS whereas he was right down the middle, placing him in the wrong. They could have passed each other with little effort but neither of them intended to alter path. They would have certainly collided even if he would not have stiff-armed her. Is there such a thing as a right of way in running/walking?
Some people are just unaware of their whereabouts. It happens all the time in youth track meets when a volunteer raises his/her head in confusion when the crowd screams "Get out of the way!!!". It looks like an honest mistake and it is tough to imagine how a volunteer to a track meet does not realize he/she is blocking the track when the runners are coming. But it appears to be an honest mistake and it happens all the time.
The guy in this case definitely shows intent to protect his perceived right of way.

Man, it'd have to be a GGMF to warrant that severe a reaction.
That looked like it was on purpose. What a douchebag.
