It was explained in another post. Biological passport doesn't allow Jama to micro-dose his athletes. Not caught but now can't use that technique.
But Genzebe sure is cute!

Just to provide a counter argument: Mary Cain had just as large of a drop in performance, but it would be tough to make an convincing argument that she is/was doping.
Why would that be tough? Because she is American, and was young?

Not really. You will be outed sooner or later.
Flo Jo kept her cheating to the grave, now no one will call her out.
There are several things, getting off the sauce (possibly) after the Aden raid, and lacking the will to dominate in championship races. Of course, she might not dope close enough to championships to always be dominant, but she's often shown greater ability outside the champs than in. She ran 3:57.8 this year enroute to a mile, and hence, could probably have run 3:55. So, you have to think that in that kind of shape, she should have been right there for the win if she had the mind of a champion, like Kipyegon.

Off the juice. When Gay was on the juice, it was rare for him to run any time worse than a 9.8. Has he been able to break 10.00 since?
Same with Dibaba
Well to be fair Gay is like 35 now. Way past his peak.
I see the title of this thread was changed after the 1,500 final.
Like Gatlin, lol

Seriouly? You think she was doping as a HS soph?

It really is that simple.

Work the risk especially if you are a mid pack guy.
Step by step guide to being a professional athlete
1. Take your PEDs
2. Improve to elite level
3. Run fast. Maybe even win a medal
4. Get your pay day
5. Come off the PEDs
6. Repeat if necessary
Zlatan, you need to add another step, like "visit a dermatologist for bad acne (Schippers)" or "buy some braces or get invisalign." Otherwise everything else is correct.

What was more interesting was what happened last year. Then the raid happened, was it her or her sister that was photo in a "wheel chair" and was totally fake. She then went to ground and we hear about a mystery toe injury. She turns up at the Olympics, cruises through the rounds then looks invincible until 20m to go but still runs the last 800m in like 1:58. Jama must have had some really good juice.
Brian Bosworth, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lance Armstrong, and now DIbaba.

Effects of all the vitamins must have worn off while her coach was trapped in Spain with his passport confiscated.
A close friend of mine is affiliated with her team and said that her problem this year is she just simply isn't in good shape and was not ready to compete through rounds in the world championships. We shall hope to see a better Dibaba in 2018.

I hope you don't eat or drink after your close friend. I'd hate to see you come up positive. Wash your hands, young man!
Leaving aside any potential issue with not being able to get hold of any PEDs she might have been taking, one issue might be too much racing in previous years.
She aimed at records both indoors and out; this makes for a lot of physically demanding races, all fast paced with the pressure of having to hit certain times. Too much of this can wear an athlete down. When does she do the six month block of training where she doesn't compete?

Child prodigy who achieved national elite status, people get excited expecting her to become a world beater. Then she hits her late teens/early 20's and starts to decline. Happens fairly frequently with women.
Dibaba is a grown woman in her athletic prime who was a world beater the previous 2 years. She didn't go through puberty at 26. Her sudden decline is much more suspicious.

Hardly. This discussion is so stupid because it doesn't matter what she runs, you will accuse her of doping. Your argument is: Ran fast again? I guess she's still on the sauce. Didn't run fast? Well I guess she's off the sauce and it shows that she was on the sauce. Ridiculous. Unless we have a positive test, the discussion is meaningless.
Be serious here. She beat even the Russian and Chinese dopers and now can't even place at World's after her coach, trainer, and athletes staying at the same hotel as her were found with many, many pre-loaded EPO syringes.
Same age as Justin Gatlin, ha.
