Is this too much?
I don't want to get injured.
And i have a few other running related questions
Do i really need a warm up run?
When i run with my team we do an 800m warmup. Drills. Then stretch but i just stretch, do drills and start my run
How bad is stopping?
I have a problem with it.
Because i run on the roads and there's no side walks and there's cars. So I'll hop off the roads and onto some stranger's lawn or about 10-30 seconds. I'd rather not get hit by a car. But i also feel somewhat mentally tired on my runs. Or my shorts ride up a bit. So I'll just really slow jog or fast walk with lots of arms for about 30 seconds to minute a few times during my runs.
I struggle with some of my runs so I don't know if i should even be doing these. They're taxing/tiring. I don't even know if i should be doing this kind of mileage if I'm stopping for a bit/struggling. My legs aren't even that tired. Not lactic heavy. But still a bit heavy.
It might be because i ate crappy food and didn't hydrate well this week
Basically.... are these runs worth it if i stop sometimes? Are they worth it if I'm struggling? Am i running myself into injury?
Do i need to run to warm up? Do i need to run to cooldown?
Feedback would be appreciated.
