Mo Farah = GOAT on the track , Was was the GOAT before this and he will still be after the 5K.

Three teams of nations threw everything they could at him, and he still beat them with ease in a 26:49 race.
That's as good as it gets.
That was Mo's big FU to all the nitwits here that said he couldn't win in a sub 27:00 race. That he was too old. He couldn't kick off that pace. etc.
Lol, FU hatin fools.
Turn Mo into a pssed off "underdog," and he schools you arm chair experts.
Ha. Ha.
The fact that Mo has virtually no defenders (except right after races) makes me think you and maybe a couple others are posting under 40 different handles shitting up the boards real nice...
Hi Tony! ðŸ¯
Are you Brit Bongs ready for a hundred year drought in the distances? Good thing Mo stocked up.
What does that even mean? How can you be right in spirit when Paul Tergat never closed a 10k in sub 13?
People talking about how bekele ran fast only in the EPO era
He ran a 26:25 after that era ended, and like 26:43 which is still faster than mo has ever run in 2011, and a 26:46 or so in 09' worlds...
Also ran a sub 13 championship 5k and like a 12:55 in 2012

Bekele is certainly the better runner, the only question is how much each doped. Because if they both dope to their hearts' desire then Belle's accomplishments are obviously far better than Mo's. However, it seems reasonable to think Mo has to use much more discretion of he dopes than 2004 Bekele would. Does that make sense?
+1
Kenyans and Ethiopians on this board can eat their souls out but nobody can touch Mo and will not until he retire.
Is he a doper - YES HE IS,
are Kenyans and Ethiopians dopers as well - YES THEY ARE - Including Bekele, Geb etc.
Mo is just better... watch 5000m then watch next OG.
The Greatest ever.
"There is no way Farah would touch those guys in their prime"
Getting tired of this argument
Kenenisa set his world record in the 5k in May 2004. However even with The world record he lost to Guerrouj in Athens olmypics in the 5k that august. So Even though he had the world record (So In theory was in his 5k prime) He still lost to a then Almost 30 year old Guerrouj who was doubling back from the 1500m.
So when you say "if we're comparing these guys in their primes? Kenenisa destroys them all. No contest." That just simply is not true.

Those look like the sort of times an aging athlete of Bekele's caliber might post after years of utter domination.
Then that youngster Mo Farah came along and learned how to do a push-up just in time to take the reins from decrepit old Bekele ...

Go watch the 2003 race, bekele could have spotted mo 15 seconds at 5k and still out did what he did today, mo closed in 55.7 bekele closed a second faster in 2003 off a sub 13 5k pace after running a 5k...
Anyone who's watched bekele run knows Mo doesn't beat him in his prime, it's not like it's anything against Mo he might be the 3rd best ever at the end but he's not the goat never will be

I may be misremembering, but I believe KB was also doubling back, from the 10000, so he wasn't fresh. Also, he lost to the greatest and fastest miler ever. Farah is also a very fast miler, so who knows. Also, KB lost that 5000 (and the Kipchoge 5000), but the 10000 is different--it was KB's better event and is Mo's worse event. And is the event in question, being that it's what Mo just won.
I don't think it's as obvious as many, today's run obviously shows at least 10s better shape in a rabbited race, probably around 26:30-35. I also understand Mo not going for times, it doesn't make much sense, physically or financially. But remember that KB's times can have asterisks as well--I think he negative split each k in his 10000WR? I remember the pacing being sub-par and him destroying the last couple k solo.

Your argument is based on Bekele screwing up tactically and losing a 13:15 race against the WR 1500m runner? Are you comparing El Guerrouj to Mo Farah with a straight face?
Bekele having run an OR 27:05 (closing in 54) in the 10k probably wasn't a factor though.
The fact that Bekele never let a kicker contend for medals again moving forward is irrelevant.
I guess if you substitute prime Mo Farah for el Guerrouj in that exact race this statement might make sense.
If you wanted to employ less strawman then 2008/2009 Bekele would be a better comparison, but cherrypicking is the tactic of Mo fans.
Bekele let Lagat get a little taste of the gold in '09, and then eased by
Oh P.S he smoked Mo in that race as well
Not the Goat. Different era. Bekele was better but Farah against today's competition is very good.
Anyone who thinks the current 5k and 10k records were done clean is kidding themselves. Mo is just as clean as Bekele was in 2003.
Nobody thinks any of these guys are clean.
you people are so foolish. You think he's clean. HA.
He's not a GOAT he's not close. He's a pu$$y racer.
Bekele actually has 20 individual gold medals. 24 if you consider African championships.

Mo has a suspect coach, He hangs out with known doping coaches, missed a bunch of test and lies about it. At least, the others were somewhat better about it.
Plus they don't have hags for wives.
If Bekele wanted to, he could easily beat Mo Farah on the track. Watch the 2013 Great North Run. But he has done all there is to do on the track.
"comes out of nowhere"
