Running 61 and then 65 isn't going to beat Farah.
They need to run 63, 63, 63.
That was a 67 so they went 61, 65.8, 66.8
Uganda and Ethiopia's turn...??!??
27>08 pace at 6k, this isn't fast enough
Kenyans working hard. At best they have maybe one or two more surges.
I think they need another plan

More like 62-61-62-61 to have a chance..
I think Farah is struggling
Don't think he'll win

My thoughts exactly, this is turning out to be another replay
Surging is no use, they have to up the pace and keep it there - anything else plays into Mo's hands
Uneven surges are just going to wear them out so Mo can make them look silly in the last lap, again. But at least it makes the middle somewhat interesting.

OMFG they're actually trying 🔨🔨🔨🔨
They really need to stop showing field events

BBC is showing just the race.
Lap 11 -Lap 10 - Farah goes to the lead briefly at the end of the 10th lap. Just before he did, he waved his arm to the crowd to pump them up and they respond with a huge roar. Mo pumps to crowd at like 1):45.
Lap 12- Karoki makes big move at end of 12th lap. 13:03.18 at 4800. It’s stringing out again and Kenya is now 1-2-3 at halfway (13:33.77) maybe a 63 lap . 63.67 to 4800.
Lap 13 - 14:04.83 (61.65) Karoki just dropped a 61! Kenya 1-2-3 then Kurong and Cheptegei. Kipchirchir right at the back of the 13-man lead pack. Korir trying to avoid being lapped in no mans’ land
Farah back to 11th with that surge
Lap 14 - 65.71 (15:10.53) Korir has joined lead packwhich now numbers 14.
Lap 15 - 66.81 16:17.38 tanui now leading
Lap 16 - 65.93 17:23.31 Kifle of eritrea now into the lead. It’s quick but not quick enough.
Lap 17 - STOP pasting up
Godown
Lap 17 66.04 (18:29.35) tanui now leading but still 14 guys up there.
Lap 18 65.04 19:34.39 cheptegei leading. Kamworor 2nd. Hadis then tanui. Farah in middle.
Mo is just where he needs to be I can't see they have done enough to run his sprint finish out ,and he is in his stage of the race. I don't think these guys can stop him
Agreed. But if this pace stays this way he's got a good opening for a kick. Hard to tell if anyone has enough left for another surge
6th place now
USA baby!
5 laps to go. Mo is fifth in striking distance. Sorry guys
Unless someone developed 1500 pace in this group Mo is in prime position
