Now we have this one, 63 in 63.
Never heard of her and we have no mutual facebook friends which is a bit suspicious to me, as she doesn't appear to have runners on her Facebook. Heard nothing about this and she now claims she has completed the 63.
Says she has been submitting evidence to Guinness so let's wait and see if this one is legit.

We need to keep our eyes on this one. Nikki Love. She is another with an aggressive partner and family members desperate to stop us discussing her.
The thread on here was removed by the pathetic moderators on here, when it broke no rules.
Nikki Love has raised over £1,500 from the public for herself to walk some "marathons" using the "charity" angle as a way to get funds for herself.
I personally think that's wrong.
If you want to walk some marathons, fund it yourself.
https://www.pledgesports.org/projects/world-record-attempt-63-marathons-in-63-days/Wants the world record when she's only ever done two marathons and they are over 6 hours.
Amy inspired me to do Ironman Wisconsin next year, but I signed up last month. BUT SHE INSPIRED ME!
This women did over 40 miles a day for 60 days.
Their is obviously no requirement to run for these 'marathons'
I'm sure someone else must have hiked 26 plus miles for more than 60 days? Probably the woman who's record she beat?
http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2014/may/25/2700-miles-later/
One if these must have exceeded this 63 record?

The people on this list don't need to provide proof. Had they covered more than 60 on consecutive days and provided proof to Guinness then yes, that would be the record.
As for the trans America runners, they don't necessarily do 60 consecutively. They could have a rest day after day 20 for example.
This Nikki Love is turning into an Amy, with an aggressive boyfriend who has now removed FIVE threads on her off here now.
He really doesn't like the question why she has received over £1,500 in personal donations. Seems to have something to hide.
Hmmm....I have a couple of questions....Where does the pledge money go? Is it to good causes / charity? If so, what percentage of each donation / pledge? I note looking on her site that she's also touting a potential book.
Looks like another 'no mark' runner who is attempting to become some sort of inspirational, self-proclaimed running celebrity and I for one, am getting sick to the back teeth of these new type of runners.
The pledge is to support the run.
There is a separate just giving page for the charity.
I suppose people do the Raleigh international charity thing and raise money to fund the trip so it's no different to this.
In my view if someone wants to set a world ultra record they should go for one of these not make their own up. At most they should be termed world bests
This guy nails it. They cut the best bit where he talks about celebrity fund raisers 'running for charity but mostly their own ego'

Yeah but Amy, Nikki et. Al. aren't actually celebrities...at least not outside their own minds.
Despite claiming to be world record holders and accomplished multi-day ultra runners no one outside of their family and a VERY limited number of friends and social media followers has actually heard of them.

Yes, she uses a legit charity page AND one to pay her directly, basically using the guise as a "charity runner" to make money for herself.
You can hardly compare Raleigh international, a legit charity, with some old woman deciding to take two months off work to go for some walks and wanting the public to pay her!
Now six threads on Nikki Love have been removed. Is the bf paying/bribing this forum to remove threads?? Okay, so we'll continue on the Amy thread, as this Nikki needs to be on our radar.
I was trying to be charitable!
Did anyone check the Strava data? Scam watcheroo seemed to think it was ok.

No, Nikki's Strava isn't okay. By the bf's own admission he thinks she won't get the record as they messed up the timing for a few days, plus i've seen short days.
He seems to be a carbon copy of Amy's bf. Very controlling and speaking for her.
Even if the data WAS okay, there's still the issue of getting over 1.5 grand for herself, that we are forbidden to mention on here.
I am e-mailing the brojos for an explanation for six removed threads.

Yeah I did a quick pass through her Strava data and noted at least two 'marathons' that were short...there's no way she can claim this as a WR as the data is bad AND she doesn't have the independent adjudicator / verifier on each of her 63 runs.
She's just another 'stunt run / walker' who's attempting make herself into some sort of minor running celebrity along with writing / selling books and probably soon to be doing the rounds of schools doing motivational talks.
For me, she's totally uninspiring...it's not hard to run / walk / shuffle 26.2 miles on back-2-back days. And it's even easier if you don't actually run the full distances or break the runs up into small chunks during the day. Logistically hard, YES...Physically hard, NO.!
I noticed in her original plan she included parkruns as part of some of these marathons but couldn't find her name on the parkrun website. Perhaps I missed her name?
It's funny how all these 'stunt runs' end up the same...they claim a record, yet fail to record it the data correctly. Then then expect everyone to believe them because they are doing it for a charity or good cause.
I would love for just once, a stunt runner to actually record everything properly and achieve some world class performances. Just saying you did it does not make it so....

.!
She's already done the speaking in schools!! During this 63 in 63 that will no way get the record.
The controlling bf was banging on about how inspiring she was speaking in schools.......
What a waste of the kids time. Kids should be in school for education, not to waste time listening to some old woman that went on some walks and never broke a record.
Goodness knows who would want to buy the book. I assume this stunt run was just to flog the book.

This should be splintered off from this thread and discussed further. A consensus of what needs to be done to satisfy LR doubters would be handy. If I wanted to do 69 marathons in 69 days - what data, etc would I need to make LR people happy and for everyone to accept my awesomeness?

Not being a fraudster is the main thing.
Amy set up a "charity" and claims "expenses" from it, ie basically a wage.
This Nikki Love has received 1.5 grand from the public for her own pocket under the guise of being a "charity runner".
I am quite happy to accept the current record of 60 in 60 as the data was correct and she didn't ask for personal donations.
Only one Nikki Love on the parkrun database. Ran in Australia on the 7th Oct (57:50)
According to the 63 in 63 website, that day's marathon was in St. Ives SW England. I
