Why can't she hold 5:30/km pace for even a KM?
Because she's a $hit runner who has to take at least one selfie per km. And one who needs a snack break in the middle of a six miler.

Another 6.3 mile run today.
Huge improvement, she did it in 1:31.

Before you start making claims about Amy's running you should check your facts. That epic 6.3 miles had a moving time of 1:31 but an elapsed time of 2:09 so there is no huge improvement. She's getting slower, in fact.
After two days of Amy's 14 day 400 mile challenge she has covered 25.1 miles, leaving a mere 374.9 to cover in the remaining 12 days, although she did suggest on Facebook that she was going to knock out another 8.5 (ish) before ending the day. Not only is Amy a great mud runner, she is also a great multi day adventure runner. I now understand where she found the strength to run 521 miles in seven days on a treadmill.

She is my hero and a source of inspiration.
Hmmm....400 miles in 14 days? She's done less than 32 miles in the last 2 days....she'd better throw in a few of her legendary (and my legendary I actually mean imaginary) fast 10k's to get back on track or she won't make the mileage.

Your level of inspiration is pretty low Karl. :-))))
And here's the exact reason why none of her data was made available for her GWR attempt. It is obvious to everyone who's done more than the occasional hobby jog, that it requires far more than just mental fortitude to accomplish a feat she claimed to have accomplished.
As many people here have stated, both here treadmill and 53.53 marathon claims are complete and utter bullshit.
I wonder if more people are going to see how full of shit she is after looking at her strava data...
She's not as daft as you think....the regular breaks for 'selfies' and 'inspirational videos' hide the fact that she is nothing more than a slow hobby jogger. As most of her 'insta followers' aren't experienced runners and can't see through the obvious sham that this run is. They'll just swallow the BS churned out by Amy and say, she wasn't running for a record and the only reason it was slow (and by slow I mean walking pace) was because she was stopping for photo's etc.
She's managed to knock out another 7 miles at 12:48 pace. She is even more of a shit runner than anyone of us thought, can't even run a mile without taking a walking break judging from the way her pace spikes up and down.
From her website:
Run Island.
4 Islands…
400 miles…
14 days…
On 30 September, Amy will be heading over to the Balearic Islands to run both cross-country and the coastlines of all four islands. Amy will be covering the distance on foot and will travel from island to island by ferry and plane.
The adventure will begin on the beautiful island of Formentera, the smallest island – just 12 miles long.

Amy will run from top to bottom in one day, starting and finishing on 1 October before she heads over to Ibiza by ferry.
Ibiza will be the second longest run, where Amy will be running around the island’s coastline covering 140 miles over a four-day period.
She will then be getting a boat from Ibiza to Palma, Mallorca, where she’ll be running cross-country from one side of the island to the other, finishing in Alcudia.
This run will consist of 40 miles’ road running, where Amy will start and finish on the same day.
Finally, from Alcudia Amy will then travel to Menorca where she will take on the final and longest leg, covering 185 miles over 6 days and averaging 30 miles a day.
Ibiza will be the second longest run, where Amy will be running around the island’s coastline covering 140 miles over a four-day period.
She's got a lot of miles to cover in the next two days if she's gonna hit that 140 mile mark!!!!

To be fair to our heroine, this is only day one on Ibiza. She's managed 19.7 miles so has to cover 120.3 over the next three days. Shouldn't be a problem for someone of Amy's claimed talent.
Amy said somewhere that she can't run the coastline because of a lack of trails.
Her final mileage will be far short of what she originally claimed she would do (much like the treadmill stunt).

It's been a long 20 miles today. I'm not going to lie..I'm glad it's over how is she going to do 40 for the next 3 days only she does what mimi's doing and relay
Luckily we already know that Amy is officially amazing:
It seems the "53/53" marathons were in fact "5K marathons"
Amy's website still claims the GWR. There is a small asterisk indicating they're waiting for official confirmation. I believe that ship has sailed Amy. Let it go.
true it gives the impression its under review by gwr when in fact gwr have made their correct decision

Another whopping 7 miles.
Makes a total of 19.7 miles to day.
Amy is amazing!
