Millet Sports provided the livestream so I suggest contacting them. I did not record the event. If you are attempting to clear Amy and Dave, it is appreciated. Thank you.

I've finally watched the videos! Thought it was some sort of parody or something, the mud run was hilarious. Although, that looked a lot like a load of pointless army bs, so I'm convinced she's in an abusive relationship with this Dave guy forcing her to fake meaningless stunt runs. Someone should tell the police.
That post was mediocre until I got to the last sentence. Then I splurted coffee all over my keyboard.
I'm calling BS on Dave's army background.
People who have served in the Royal Marines do NOT wipe mud on their faces to demonstrate that they have completed a 'mud run'.
Anyone know how to check out dubious claims to a UK military background?
Thanks, I will try to see if Millet Sports still has the footage and would be willing to share.
I don't think it's in any one's interest to keep the arguments going if it can simply be cleared up by analyzing the live footage and things can be resolved by better communication. (Hopefully the numbers on the treadmill are visible like in some of the YouTube videos)
For what it's worth, here is the last email I sent to Amy Hughes and Dave Keighley 2 days ago, but they haven't responded:
Dave is on vacation in Spain right now.
Besides that, any efforts to connect with Dave and Amy are a waste of time. They only talk to their fanboys. Everybody else with some critical thinking skills is a hater.
They have been caught but they will never admit to it because that is the easy thing to do.
If Amy would be that great in running, she would race a 6 day race and show it to everybody. Very unlikely that this will happen.

Perhaps the "Amy Did It" user can help get a response from Amy Hughes to my email.
Dave is reflecting right now

Amy was livestreamed for the ENTIRE run
People were following along at home watching her plus there were crowds all about her in the centre.
Here is more proof:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KROYn-ubXbwIt would be impossible to fake this because you would need literally hundreds of people to be a part of this. I don't care about Guiness personally. I know she did it because I watched her do it.
They were there 24-7? They saw the mileage at the end of each day?

If Andy can get the footage from Millet Sports that would be a good first step in deciding whether or not she ran the 521 miles. Amy Did it, can you recall if the live stream was a wide shot of the treadmill or did they also have a view of the mileage ticking over? It's been mentioned somewhere that the treadmills kept resetting so all of those totals would have to be added together manually.
Regarding the mud run video, all that proves is that at 35 seconds Amy won't be breaking any UK steeplechase records..
If I were going to cheat this ...
- I'd be on the treadmill when people are around.
- I'd get off and leave it running whenever they aren't. Given that the shopping centre is closed overnight would be fairly easy to do. If an overnight security guard or cleaner came by I might jump on for show but probably I'd just tell them I'm on a break. If they asked why the belt was still running I'd say "it's calibration testing and we'll subtract those miles off at the end of the week" or some such BS. But probably they wouldn't ask.
- I'd do a lot of running when the media, press, cameras are around. The rest of the day I'd be walking or jogging.
- I'd take some of my sleep or rest breaks during the middle of the day to minimise how much exercise I actually had to do.
At the end of the week it wouldn't actually matter what mileage the treadmill states - no-one would know whether I was actually on it for every single one of those miles.
The original Millet Sports live stream was on YouTube at the link below but it appears to be archived to the private area of the channel. I have set Millet Sports an email requesting access to view/download it.
Not a hope. She won't even say what the camera angle was, who the extra witnesses were or what they actually witnessed. They have zero interest in proving their feat, only in having people believe in it without proof.
That 'mud run' video is about all the proof I need that this lady has zero natural running ability.
70 miles a day MY ARSE.
Andy how did you find that link to the live stream? Maybe we can find the original video another way.

The live stream link doesn't appear to show up anywhere except when I search on Google for:
millet sports "amy hughes" treadmill
It doesn't show up in the public Millet Sports YouTube feed either. Looking up YouTube help documentation, it says that these live streams are automatically archived to the private area of a channel but I don't think there is a way of retrieving the video unless Millet Sports responds to my email with the secret link.

Thanks Andy. I had hoped Google might have a cache of the page but it doesn't look like it. Something else odd, at least on the screen I see, it says:
"Last streamed live on Sep 8, 2016"
All of this is very odd.
Oh, now I see this attempt happened way back in September so that explains the date. I suppose it wasn't until GWR rejected it that we all heard about it? I mistakenly thought this was a recent attempt.
I wouldn't respond to that either. It's very difficult to read with all the grammatical errors. It also reeks of 'crazy internet guy.'

Harsh words. I would never say that, but I thought the same thing when I saw her running in her videos.
Her fans and boyfriend would argue that we are body shaming and everybody is a runner no matter how far you run and how it looks.

So what you are saying is that it is typical LetsRun poster writing.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
