Another one of these posts. Going into my Junior season. Freshman year I went 17:15, sophomore year 16:45. Going into my sophomore year I was doing 40-45 mpw in all singles and not much threshold running. I got injured sophomore track season and only ran 10:14 for 3200m. I've gotten up to consistent 60-70 mpw off of 4-6 doubles per week this summer. Tempo runs (3-5 miles) and repeats have all been around 5:45-6:00 pace. Raced a 16:55 on grass last week off of nothing more than mileage and tempos. Realistically, what can I run this season (late October)? I'm thinking low 16s? Sub-16?
