Came across EventClip Pinless Number Fasteners the other day and promptly ordered a pack. They have just launched us a US website. I bought 4 packs and got 1 free, which was brave as I never used them before.
So it goes, my husband is now using them too for his cycling! You just punch a hole in your number and pop a clip on. They do what they say, don't make holes in your kit! Fab find, so I thought I'd share with you guys.

What is a kit? Since I don't know if I even have a kit, I don't think I'll ever ruin it.
The company has previous for similar "advertising" in the U.K.
Happened on lots of uk forums a few years ago with fake customers asking for alternatives to safety pins. Only for a different poster to come up with this solution. All questions and answers worded very similarly.
How is a clip NOT going to totally f*ck up the material by stretching and bending it in weird ways? And how difficult is this to adjust? Safety pins make tiny holes and are super easy to deal with. Sorry, but my "kit" is just fine in that regard. Invent a way to eliminate odor and we can talk.
