I am 16 and have prs of 4:57 (1600m), 11:13 (3200m), 18:47 (5k).
Last week I only ran about 10 miles, but the two weeks before I ran 45, then 51.
I haven't ran the past 6 days (was feeling a little burnt out), and today I decided to run with a heart rate monitor. My Resting Hr is 46.
According to the website:

my normal runs should be at 156-170 bpm.
Today I ran 8.1 miles @7:47 pace, and my heart race was around 185 on average the entire time. When I got down to 175, my pace was 8:20.
According to this, a tempo run should be between 172-186. My tempo runs are usually around 6:30s when I ran them during spring track.
It says speed work is 186+, but my heart rate hit 197 when I was kicking it in at about 6:50 pace....
Why is my heart rate so high? Am I put of shape? was it because I haven't ran in 5 days? Am I working to hard? Should my tempos be 7:47? I'm really confused.
