Happy Birthday to Nikon.
Happy Birthday to Nikon.
My first Nikon camera was a COOLPIX L19. Damn I was happy about it. The first days I could stop taking pictures with it, and then, after seeing the cooler cameras that my friends had, I left mine in a drawer and forgot about it.

I got a Nikon camera I love to take a photograph
I don't remember which model was my first camera because decades have passed since then. The camera that I'm currently using is a Nikon. It's a very good camera, which deserved every penny. We've been to several trips with it and took amazing shots. This camera is the prison cell where we keep our memories. I'm not a spec person, I'm not even into numbers, so it would be better for you to read on , for specifications, it you're interested of course although I doubt that, there are modern cameras that might be way better than out Coolpix B700.

Paul, I’m not going to ask again.... now give me that Kodachrome!
Nikon has way better cameras than the Coolpix now. I want to buy one of his newest cameras
I had a Nikkormat in 1977. I shot a lot of slides, Kodachrome and Ektachrome. It had a neat little short zoom... 43-86?... and a 50mm standard lens. We were stationed in Greece at the time so there were a lot of interesting things to photograph.
I've been thinking of buying a real camera and I've been looking at the Panasonic Lumix GX85 or the ZS100, but my Samsung Galaxy S9+ takes photos that are good enough to share with friends. Plus, it's such a hassle to carry a real camera. I had to carry a camera bag when I was shooting with the Nikkormat.
You are right. I got their new mirrorless z5 and it is a joy to use

Mind you, it was quite expensive but the images are so good.
I was thinking Nixon's 100th birthday must be right around now, too.
Have never owned a Nikon but they do make great cameras.
I was a Minolta man starting back in 1976 and used their film cameras up until about 2003 when I went completely digital with Canon. Have had a couple of Canon DSLR cameras since then.
Nikon N90 was the first one I had, but my favorite was the F3. Was kind of annoyed by the weird backwards compatibility limitations on some of their digital cameras, eventually moved to Sony mirrorless and micro 4/3.
