I think this is a trend among shoe companies. Hoka did this last year with the Clayton (advertised 7.1 ounces, was actually 8.1 ounces in size 9).
On the Nike site, they're listing 6.5 ounces in Men's size 10. On the Runner's Warehouse site, they're listing 6.9 ounces in Men's size 9.
Is this a big deal? It's a huge deal. The whole point of a racing flat is lightweight. If I order the Vaporflys and it turns out the weight is intentionally mislabeled, I'm not getting what I ordered.
If you have a pair of Vaporflys, please weigh them on a kitchen scale.
