Caster Semenya will be atempting the double (800m/1500m) for the first time in a global championships.
Very excited to see how she does! Kelly Holmes has done the double before and I think she can to

How sad for Women's 1500m runners.
she?
Women should agree to delay 5s at gun, then start racing. Let Caster run Casters race. Alone.

Yes. She.
She won Olympics 2012 and 2016. Shes a world champion.
I never said he. I said she. Because she is a she. All you keyboard warriors who hide behind your computers and bash out hatred are sad

Why do you refer to gender at all? Don't put your shit and your need to label onto others. Do you think women are weaker, is that why you need to assign gender?
Hi Cuan! :) To me she (even if she sounds like a man) seems to be suited just for the 800 at the moment. She looks a little bit too "heavy" for the 400 and 1500 right now. We will see what happens. Anyway it`s interesting to see her at 1500 also.

Are you for real? I never mentioned women weaker at all! The poster referred to a woman as a man and I stated that is wrong! Go back in your hole
She gonna have a lot of trouble if she dominates there. No way them white girls Simpson and Muir gonna welcome her. Stupid move by Semenya- she gonna get the spotlight on her and her testosterone again
Why don't people refer to Caster as a hermaphrodite?
Men or Women- one thing is for sure, she's laughing in everybody's face. She even said it- she don't give a damn. If none of the other women does something- some kind of protest, I say they deserve to be buried by her.
Ignoring all the other stuff about this athlete - which other posters will doubtless go on about - I will be really interested to see how the 1500 goes. I would not have her as favourite for the gold in this event; I think three rounds could find her out, she doesn't strike me as an endurance type. What's the timetable? does the 1500 come before the 800? I thought Muir was only going for the 1500/5000 double because the 1500 came first, pretty early in the meet. If the 1500 comes before the 800 she could be racing herself out of an 800 gold here. I have serious doubts that she will attempt this double. For her, surely, a 400/800 double is more of a fit?

Testicles trump ovaries every time when it comes to man/woman.
Caster has ran 4:01 when she won the African Championships last year, but I don't think she is in the same form. Recently, she looked really heavy and slow in the 400m. Caster also has a habit of kicking far too late (London olympics 2012).
If the 1500m turns into a 800m race, like in Beijing and Rio, Caster will be the favourite. The best chance for the other competitors would be to take the race out hard from the beginning (sub 4 pace), it will be interesting to see how Caster deals with this scenario.
She did 4:01 last year. And we all know she never goes all out in order not to draw attention.
Maybe her 1500m participance is a smoke screen to her 800m in a way that she looses big time the 1500m and then wins the 800m, this way it'll give her more air with the protesters against her (if any). "Oh she's not a threat in the 1500m", let her keep playing in the 800m

...
Didn't they PR in the 800m last week?
If the 1500 goes out fast she gets smoked.
I look forward to the photo of her next to Konstanze.

Because an anorexic, flat chested, no hip girl is the height of femininity?

It would be like an emaciated, stork-legged, skeletor like you standing next to a real man like me.
Better?
