I don't understand why he just completely stopped running. With his low-T, couldn't be just have taken a break to cure himself and then return to running, instead of quitting? I would really like to see Hall return to marathon, but he has seriously gotten HUGE.
Ryan Hall was cursed with the wrong frame for a marathoner. He did amazingly to run as fast as he did with those shoulders. No surprise he filled out so well with lifting.

I think he could lose the weight pretty quickly. I don't think distance runners come back from the level of burn out that he reached though. I can't think of anyone who over trained for as long as he did and returned to their previous level.
