Not just how fast they are now but how fast they were. I imagine that the muscle bulk they put on would slow them down.

No, he didn't. The guy runs a 21:20 5K. I doubt he ever broke 38 minutes regardless of anything.
Hobie is a sub 2:30 marathoner. Definitely no slouch.

Nice reference to a great set of threads from 2011!
I think you mean he rowed a 10k in 28:20.
Robert Killian won the Spartan World Championship a year or two ago and races all the big ones and is usually in the top 3. In college he ran for The Citadel and was a 15:20s guy. That was 12-13 years ago so he is doing well with his age.
Faye Stenning is one of the top Spartan women and was a collegiate cross country / track athlete. I'm pretty sure that she ran 9-mid for 3000m in high school, which was a provincial record, at the time, and she's run 35:40 for 10k.
Very beautiful Canadian girl, as well, if I may say so...

Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
