Government-guaranteed student loans allows people who would never even be able to get into college without them to pay for low-prestige college degrees from schools like U of Pheonix. These degrees will not do anything for anyone.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it's because someone wants to make money
and the reason they will not do anything for anyone is that no amount of schooling will ever make someone without the genetic potential able to do a job that requires a college dgeree
And then everyone complains about the rising upper-education costs....don't worry, we'll just make college free bro problem solved!
The variability in intelligence can be described by genetics to some extent and by the environment to some extent, and those environmental factors are very poorly understood. For children in particular (the people we're educating), the environmental factors make up a larger fraction of the variability than genetic factors.

I know several people who got jobs because of their Phoenix degree. So you're wrong about that. Are you also wrong about intelligence being genetic?

OP needs to look up the difference between intelligence and education and stop spewing such ignorance.

My dog is smarter than you and she went to obedience school.
Genetics can affect the brains response to stimulation and enrichment. To state simply intellectual ability is genetic, is such an over simplification, that it makes your statement incorrect.
I also don't understand how government-guaranteed loans allow people who wouldn't be qualified get into college.
