some thoughts...
Birdwatcher- back in the saddle i see! i hope plantar stuff is nothing serious. thanks for the encouragement on the long run from last week. looking forward to following this new build
Chunky Vanilla- welcome to thread. Looking forward to following your sub 2:40 buildup for Philadelphia.
pewow- nice mile race. i don't think i could hang!
paleale- the sub 16 is obviously going to happen very soon.
Smoove- regarding the masters runners bumping up the T... i think it's happening a lot. Case study- I know about 5 masters runners who run ~90% age graded times. my best guess is two of them are bumping the T. also the age grading tables obviously aren't great either... in my opinion it's way easier to run great age graded times as one gets older (not going up against Bekele's records etc!)
Slower than molasses- congrats on the new 800 PR
Sorry to hear about the injuries gentlemen- Jeremy, if possible get an MRI. Laughlin- I've had similar things happen (both peroneal and extensor tendon issues). loosening up the calf (especially outside) and soleus has helped me with that and Achilles. the camber of the road can be a trigger of this for me.
