It had some exciting moments -- Sagan' s DQ/Cav's crash, a Frenchman winning a great stage on Bastille Day, Aru attacking and getting yellow when Froome had a mechanical, and Americans holding a jersey on three days. But overall, Sky was dominant and Froome rode a teammate's wheel all but 400 meters of the race beyond the TTs. He didn't even win a stage. After last year's GC snoozefest, we've now had 2 straight years of Tours that lacked the excitement of Tours of past. No Armstrong-Ullrich mountain rivalry, no Landis riding by himself for 50 miles to get 6 minutes back, no Armstrong-Contador squabbles. We don't need dopers for an exciting Tour, but these guys play it too safe! If you're 29 seconds back, attack for Pete's sakes!!
