I was under the impression UCLA was rivals with USC not their farm league. With the departure of Maynard and inclusion of Anderson it appeared UCLA was intent on building itself back together. Benjamin taking second at nationals, and the sprints, hurdles, throws, and jumps on the upswing with talent, things looked healthy. According to Benjamin's and Misana Viltz twitter accounts both men have left the program. I do not see any public changes in staffing but rumors are Anderson has replacing the entire staff, which may be the reason for the 2 hurdlers leaving. Benjamin is transfering to USC of all places. Looking at UCLA's roster that leaves the Bruins sprint core depleted. 5 total sprinters and no hurdler to speak of. Any one heard anything from Westwood, I recall the days of 12k in the stands for the dual meet, and the world class races on the track. Looking at these rosters, UCLA will not even be competitive the next few years in the sprints and hurdles. Why would they let Benjamin go to USC, in conference, isn't there a rule against it?
