Still looking unpolished and not the same spark as in the past. How fast can he go at Worlds? Will he still win?

He's clearly pissed. It's 9.98 basic corrected. Time to go back again with Dr Hans.
They will need another sessions because he improved only marginally. At least he broke 10 this time.
So it will be between him, Gatlin, De Grasse, Coleman and Blake. Simbine didnt convince me today. Meite in the mix also. 9.85/9.86 will be enough for the gold.
I think he'll still win (barely) but it'll be in a time that would be more in the range of a winning time in the 1990's. Something like 9.90.
Bolt can go low 9.8s in London if needed. Will be enough to win, as face it the outstanding sprint depth in mens right now is 400m not 100m.
There's no WVN equivalent over 100m...
Bolt to win as mentally much tougher and there's nothing that unusual about this season to his last 2. And he won in 15 and 16.....
Sub 10 with a woeful start and cruising. He's good for a 9.80. Should be good enough

The start wasn't that bad. what he's still missing is his trademark 50 to 80 meters speed endurance. And his best top-end speed leave him after 2012.
In summary, he should lose in London.
But his rivals arent fully prepared MENTALLY in order to beat Bolt.
Gatlin is aging, Blake is battling with injuries, De Grasse had a hurricane behind in Stockholm 9.69, and Coleman/Belcher fast times are in Eugene plus they have long NCAA seasons in their backs. So, put an asterisk in all of them.
Why wasn't DeGrasse in the race? What's the true story?
DG and Coleman were both BLocked so bolt could win
Bolt is beatable, no doubt.
BUT
I've been wrong too many times picking against him to do it again.
We do this every year - it's already over.
Bolt will go 9.6x in London if needed due to his "championship mentality" AKA likely doping cycle/help from his German doctor.
But realistically he'll probably run 9.78-9.82 FTW - he's been stuck around there pretty much since 2014 or 2015 unless someone really pushes him
BLOCKED? Well that sucks
Coleman should be glad. He needs the rest.
Degrasse travelling really well at the moment.
9.88 corrected last 100m and an outstanding base. He should challenge for gold in 100m & 200m.
I say Degrasse 9.7high FTW.

9.88 - really, when? I think he's only gone under 10 once this year, and that was in the wind-aided race in Sweden.
I think his best shot is in the 200m. The field is really open in that race. I don't see him taking a medal in the 100m.
I still have Bolt taking the 100m. I predict a winning time of 9.85.
Canada takes silver in 4 x100 too, outright, or with Jamaica/US disqualifying in one of the rounds.

He isn't racing any 200m races which is a complete mistake.
I see Bolt as a close fourth in the world championship.
He looks smaller.

So which one is it?
